I recommend this product. I purchased another game by Simply Media, which was far inferior. I like On Hand’s game b/c it provides a lot of variety with limit & no limit games, cash & tournament. It allows significant customization of the games, and it includes a number of interesting scenarios for “training.” It is also fast.

This game is texas hold’em poker but it’s not well suited for computer play on vista machines. The graphics are good but the game requires that you surrender control of your computer while playing disabling windows.
Spend a few more dollars for a more usefull version.

The hands are dealt over and over again for me and I get a chance to bet or not (using Poker for Dummies)…without losing any money. After all this practice, next time I’ll win. Lots of fun for $4.95.

I have a couple other Texas Hold ‘Em games but this one is the best simply because it reveals only what you’d see if you were playing a live game at a casino. No clues pop up telling you how much is in the pot; what your odds are of making a flush, straight or other hand; what your percentage is of winning that hand. YOU have to figure it out. This game has raised my skill level immeasurably.
